The City Council is ambitious for our residents and is determined to redesign our services for the digital age. Our new Head of Customers, IT & Digital will be instrumental in driving our digital ambitions forward, using the power of technology across three strategic themes through user-centered design:

  • Enabling our workforce – designing our systems to enable teams to work more productively and employees to work more flexibly.
  • Enabling residents – redesigning our services with users at the heart, improving our online offer, bringing customer services together on a single platform and using technology to make services more responsive and accessible.
  • Enabling communities – working with our partners to build technology-based community infrastructure across the City.

You will lead an impressive portfolio of fast-paced services to help deliver the Council’s corporate transformation programme. Leading our IT transformation agenda, you will ensure that we deliver high performing, customer-centric and cost-effective services, now and in the future.

We’re looking for an innovative and talented senior leader with a track record of leading ICT and digital transformation, alongside experience of managing complex support services in a multi-faceted environment. You will have in-depth knowledge of client relationship management.
